CDL TRUCK DRIVER

I AM A FAIRLY NEW DRIVER, ABOUT A YEAR ON THE ROAD. MY CONCERN IS FOR THE DRIVERS THAT WORK FOR TRUCKING COMPANIES THAT DO NOT PROVIDE SAFE EQUIPMENT. I WORK FOR SUCH A COMPANY. I PRE-TRIP MY TRUCK, HAVE NO TICKETS, AND DO AN EXCELLENT JOB FOR MY EMPLOYER. BUT THEY CONSISTENTLY PLACE ME IN RAGGED ASS TRUCKS WITH MECHANICAL PROBLEMS AND THEN THEY COMPLAIN WHEN I INSIST ON HAVING REPAIRS DONE. I ALSO A WOMAN, SO I HAVE TO HAMMER DOWN HARDER THAN THE MAN. BUT , WHATS A GIRL GONNA DO? JUST GOTTA DO WHAT A GIRL HAS TO DO!

HUNGER


Hunger may disturb sleep.  A light snack, especially warm milk, seems to help people get to sleep.


FOOD


Various foods stimulate the body and disturb sleep.  Avoid coffee, tea, and cola drinks near bedtime.  Avoid heavy meals.
