I hear and feel your pain!! I am a nurse and I changed careers after 14 yrs of nursing. I just got burned out and needed a change. I have contacted several companies over the past few weeks and I have read just about everything these companies offer and what they will or will not "excuse". I think, If I remember correctly, there were several that inquired about past 10 yrs criminal histories. So more than 16 yrs for DUI's, well they might overlook that. Best Wishes and happy hunting.

If its been 16 years you should not have a problem.
Start contacting several companies you would like to work for and ask them there policy.
