Wanting to Team Drive, but with no OTR experience.

I have approximately 9+ years of Trucking in the State of Texas. I have been out of State many years back but that was hauling grain during the harvest season only. So I don't believe that qualifies as OTR ? And the company I was with ( Imperial Trucking Company ) has been out of business for many years. I am interested in driving OTR but want to drive with a veteran trucker and learn the ropes. Not sure if Regional is for me as I don't know much about what things I know I need to know. I kept logs before,however I was home every night and I never learned the finer points of logging I believe. Hell I don't even know how to properly pack what personnel belongings I should bring over the road. My driving skills are good. My M.V.R is clean. I have obtained the T.W.I.C. card. I currently have Doubles/Triples and Tanker endorsements. I have the ball rolling to obtain my Haz-Mat as well. Now for the hard part. I have a felony which is 10 years old. No weapons or drugs/alcohol involved. Any positive feed back will be appreciated.
